People who have played Paper Mario games like Color Splash and Origami King will have experienced the episode during which Mario gets separated from his helpful companion, during which he cannot use the special power they lend him. The objective of that chapter is to manage without the companion's power until you can save them. In Wind Waker Link loses his sword and has to manage without it until he can retrieve it as well. I predict there will be such a chapter in this game, too: Zelda will get separated from Tri at some point, and until she can recover him she won't be able to use the rod's power.

I could not have done this challenge because I got a blood moon the very first night after leaving the island... and I left it just before sunset. 2:55 Oil jars actually can be found in the wild. There is an abandoned campsite somewhere in the Gerudo Desert with plenty of jars lying around.
